The Parks of Our Own(Ceramic Version)
------
Public Project
Language: English
Material: Ceramic
When I go to a place, I’m exposed to a variety of things that are pieced together to form my own perception. I find fascinating that different people have different perceptions of the same place: can I call the place that lives in my memory, “mine”? Can I avoid oblivion and perpetuate the memories I want to keep?
With these questions, I set up an easel in many parks in London and invited passers-by to draw their memories of the parks. This is my attempt at preserving the participants memories, alongside my own.
Exhibited in London, UK. Dec 2022.
